Jeffrey Abbott is a Co-founder and CEO of CytoTronics. He is an engineer, scientist, and entrepreneur, holding a BS and MS in analog integrated circuit design from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from Harvard's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and has conducted postdoctoral research in Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard. Jeffrey’s early research focused on CMOS integrated circuits, which he later expanded into bioelectronics, merging electrical engineering with biology to develop tools for advanced cell-based assays. Today, he leads CytoTronics’ mission to deliver high-throughput, real-time analysis platforms that empower researchers to uncover new insights in drug discovery and biomedical research.

Vince Wu is a Co-founder and CTO of CytoTronics. He is an engineer and innovator, holding a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Harvard University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Washington. Vince brings rigorous expertise to his work in tech-enabled biology and is passionate about leveraging data and AI/ML to accelerate breakthroughs in drug discovery and beyond. His journey began as a research project that evolved into a transformative technology that is driving our mission to deliver unique biological data at scale and empower new biological discoveries.

Duane Sword is a Co-founder and CBO of CytoTronics. He is a high-performing, commercially driven executive with a proven track record of transforming technological innovations into successful commercial ventures. Over the course of his career, Duane has led companies from pre-revenue stages to over US$200M in revenue. With deep experience as a startup executive, Duane thrives in global customer and industry-facing roles, leveraging his expansive understanding of market dynamics to drive growth. He is actively involved in pioneering ventures across optical spectroscopy and imaging platforms, holding board positions, and retained executive roles for companies in biopharma analytical technologies, industrial processing and forensics. Previous executive positions with respected publicly held companies including Agilent Technologies, MKS Instruments, Thermo Fisher Scientific and serial entrepreneurial success with privately held ventures at the CEO or VP level including Ahura Scientific, Precisive, and RedWave Technologies. He holds a Bachelor Electrical Engineering, RMIT, Melbourne, Australia.
